Q: Will I (as a parent) receive updates on my child’s progress?

A: Yes! parents can request a progress review session at any time to discuss your child’s accomplishments, challenges, and next steps with the tutor.

Q: What subjects do you cover?

A: We cover core subjects for K-6: English reading, writing (spelling, grammar, composition), math, and sometimes supplementary topics (e.g. study skills, comprehension, phonics). If you need help in a specific area, let us know and we’ll see if we can support it.

Q: How do you assess my child’s level or needs?

A: We use monthly assessments to evaluate where your child stands—what skills they’ve mastered, what needs more practice—and then adapt our lessons accordingly to ensure steady progress.

Q: Can you help with homework?

A: Yes — tutoring sessions may include help with homework, but our focus is more on skill building (understanding concepts) rather than doing homework for the child.

Q: Are there make-up sessions if my child misses a class?

A: Yes. We offer rescheduling or make-up sessions (within a set timeframe) for classes missed with prior notice. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a session.

Q: What is your cancellation / refund policy?

A: Cancellations or rescheduling made at least 24 hours before the class are eligible for a full refund.

Requests made within 24 hours of the class are not eligible for a refund.
